Dasha Chekanyova is an internationally trained, award winning master-level Permanent Makeup Artist, Educator, and Founder of Powder House Studio. With over nine years in the beauty industry, Dasha began her career as a certified aesthetician before discovering her true passion for PMU in 2017. Her background in art has also played a key role in developing her signature style, soft, balanced, and natural-looking enhancements tailored to each client’s features.
Throughout her career, Dasha has earned more than 12 certifications from globally recognized masters, including James Olaya (Brazil), Illusion Luxe (Australia), and Elyssian360 (USA), along with numerous advanced trainings in Powder Brows, Nano Brows, Combo Brows, Lip Blushing, and Lip Neutralization. In 2025, she was recognized by Browista Canada as one of the Top 3 Powder Brow Artists—a service she has become best known for.
As a dedicated educator, Dasha has successfully trained hundreds of students through personalized one-on-one and small group sessions, many of whom have gone on to build thriving PMU careers of their own. Today, at Powder House Studio, Dasha leads a team of talented, award-winning artists who share her commitment to artistry, innovation, and excellence in every service.
